When Should You Not Get Dermal Filler Treatment?
You should not get Cosmetic Dermal Filler treatment if you have any of the following:
- If you have allergy to any of the ingredients in the cosmetic dermal fillers. We use one or a combination of the following cosmetic dermal fillers, Juvederm Ultra Plus XC, Juvederm Ultra XC, Radiesse, Restylane or Belotero dermal fillers depending on the area being treated.
- If you are currently Pregnant or think you may be pregnant
- If you have an active skin infection of the intended treatment area
- If you experienced an adverse affect following a prior treatment with cosmetic dermal fillers, please do let us know at the time of your consultation.
Active bacterial, viral or fungal skin infection of the area to be treated can lead to local or systemic spread with use of a needle for injections. You should have the skin infection treated by your Physician with the appropriate anti-bacterial, anti-viral or anti-fungal agent as indicated at your Physicians discretion and wait for all signs and symptoms of the infection to be completely resolved before making your appointment for cosmetic dermal filler treatment.
