Non-surgical Rhinoplasty in Dallas and Southlake- $750
Minor nasal deformities such as small nasal bridge or minor humps can be easily and safely corrected in our Dallas and Southlake offices with injection of cosmetic dermal fillers. We have found the procedure to be quick, relatively painless with practically no downtime with high rate of patient satisfaction.
Rhinoplasty is the procedure of choice for more significant nasal deformities but it involves surgery under general anesthesia, considerable post surgical discomfort and downtime. Surgical rhinoplasty has it’s own set of long term consequences and complications; which makes non-surgical rhinoplasty the procedure of choice for many individuals with minor nasal imperfections such as a small hump in the bridge, a slightly flat bridge, a slight hook nose, a dropping tip of the nose etc.
Non-surgical rhinoplasty with a dermal filler can subtly reduce the minor nose imperfections temporarily with little discomfort, practically no downtime and at a fraction of the cost of surgical rhinoplasty.Like all cosmetic treatments, Dr. Malik evaluates individual nose shape, face shape and the proportion of your nose to your face before your treatment. She will discuss realistic expectations and will also let you know if you are not a candidate for the non-surgical rhinoplasty.
“After doing close to a hundred non-surgical rhinoplasty treatments in Dallas and Southlake, what I have found is that the goal of cosmetic treatments is not to achieve perfection of one individual feature (like nose); instead it is to reduce the imperfection in question but keep the overall proportions relevant to the face. Too frequently I have seen a perfectly straight nose on the profile but the bridge too large for the face making the eyes look sunken or the tip too high for the rest of the face. This principle of keeping the results proportionate is ESSENTIAL to everything in cosmetic medicine, from Botox/Xeomin for smoother forehead, or lifted eye-brows to dermal fillers for softening the nasolabial folds, lifting the middle face and lip enhancement.” Dr. Malik
Cosmetic dermal fillers such as Restylane, Juvaderm, Radiesse are FDA approved for use in the US for facial volume and to correct deep facial wrinkles. None of the cosmetic dermal fillers are FDA approved for correction of nasal deformities. Use of dermal fillers to temporarily reduce nasal deformities for non-surgical “rhinoplasty” is considered off-label and at physician discretion. The success of this procedure depends on physician experience and your expectations.
The amount and type of dermal filler used depends on the type of nasal deformity being treated and your goals. The nasal dermal filler treatment lasts from 9-16 months depending on the type of dermal filler used and your body’s response to the dermal filler.
